Is the Ng ball postion different than the conventional in the sand trap?
with the conventional method and sand wedge I play it off my left heel or even alittle more forward of that. I tried the same position with the Ng method and Ng sand wedge and I had to move it back to a little right of my zipper.
Before I moved it back I was hitting fat into the sand and after I moved it to the right of my zipper I was hitting them out with no problem.
In the video with Moe he said play it forward but in the video it looks like it is in the middle of his stance.
Thanks

If you are using a sandwedge with a high degree of bounce (14 degrees or more) you will find it easier with a ball position further back in your stance. Moe used a wedge that was similar to our "Sandy" wedge that actually has 20 degrees of bounce. You may hit it a bit higher with a forward ball position but you have to be certain to "dig" the leading edge about 3" inches prior to the ball to avoid too much bounce and a potential "blade" or "skulled" shot. Be certain to keep your weight primarily on your lead leg as this will assist in the proper angle into the sand for proper bounce and a good shot.
