THE GOLFER'S FOOTPRINT

I just thought that I would let everyone know that this product: BOTH WORKS AND IT REALLY DELIVERS RESULTS !!

Just like it is promoted to do so, It does:

1. Improve your Aim and Alignment,
2. Square your Club-Face at Impact,
3. Work the Ball and Create Shots
4. Best of the Best

All of the above product claims for ME seem to be true. It has been the best training apparatus,I have ever used to help
me visual both the club path, and how opened or closed the club face should be. It is amazing how this visual link, can so dramatically improve my indoor practice performance.

I am further amazed that I am even learning to shape a few shots. Sometimes, when I am practicing hitting drives, I will
place THE GOLFERS FOOTPRINT between the tee and my feet, and have no problems hitting nice straight shots. Many
times, I will use it just as a visual reminder rather than actually hitting off of it.

I await, ever hopefully, the increasing arrival of Spring here in Michigan so I can see if my shots, on real turf, have also improved. [ It is predicted to snow yet again at least one day next week, with temps only getting up into the 30's ! ]

There is one thing that I did to the "Swing Trainer's" surface to keep it from scratching.. I did take some clear, plastic,
packaging tape, and placed a couple of layers on the trainer where the club might impact it. It doesn't seem to negatively effect striking the ball any more than the unprotected surface, and you eliminate all those annoying scratches that can
be a distraction. After hitting a couple of hundred balls, I usually check to see if I need to remove the old tape and apply
some new.

This teaching/ learning device, will should help me with my game for a very long time.

What a worthwhile and effective training device it is !

Thank you for your post Eric. The Masters is next week so we know your golf season is just around the corner; we'll look forward to hearing how your winter practice with the Golfer's Footprint translates to success on the course!

Does the footprint trainer help with ball and foot placement?

The Golfer's Footprint does not reference foot placement. There is however a clear arrow one can use to reference ball position. A simple and effective addition to the Footprint is to place a yard stick next to it and simply reference the numbers for consistent stance width. For example, my hips are 14 inches wide so when I practice short irons I place my lead foot instep at the "0" end of the stick and my trail foot instep at 14 inches, then I know that I have the insides of my feet at hip width consistently. For a driver I like to have the insteps of my feet as wide as my shoulders, which are 19 inches wide, so I simply widen the inside of my trail foot to 19 inches while keeping my lead foot instep at "0".

WOW!!!...just got my Golfer's Footprint a couple days ago and that little sucker is awesome, never expected so much out of a simple piece of plastic. On the other hand, maybe that's the reason I like so much..."USER FRIENDLY"...only one button. Fantastic little training tool!
